Question how come???

well ive tried the vba emulator,
and the n64 emulator,
and ive noticed that the n64 emu is way faster than the vba emu plus it has abit better graphix
so i was just wondering that why gba system which is a more simpler system than the n64 has a less better emulater than the n64 which is a bit more complex system cause it has 3d graphix?
can somebody explane this please

could be that the ROM for each emu runs at a different speed or if you clocked the cpu to 333mhz on one emu instead of the other
