| | Member | | | | | Help with SNES9xTYL Corrupted Image Hey guys. I'm trying to get rid of the corrupted image from the snes9x tyl emulator. Quote:
Corrupted Images
There are several ways to hide the corrupted images - I will tell you the best.
Option 1
Using Sei PSP Tool, select the large icon on the left hand side with 'Corrupted Images' at the bottom. We will use RIN as an example, with one of its folders called RIN and the other RIN%. I would select my PSP drive from the list, and type in RIN in the box, and click OK. A message pops up saying the folders have been renamed. The corrupted images are now gone.
Option 2
Rename the files "__SCE__whatever and %__SCE__whatever", where whatever is anything. (Thanks MTsol!)
Option 3
Rename the files to "whatever(28 spaces)1", and "whatever1~1%" (thanks nathan151!), where the first was originally the one without the % and the second had a %. Where it says (28 spaces) insert 28 spaces.
| I used these 3 methods posted in the help/tutorials section, but the emulator can't read the ROMS (it flashes a blue memory stick error screen in a rectangular box) when i try to rename it. Whenever i leave it normally (with corrupted images) it works fine.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

| | Member | | | | | Error cannot read from memory stick. please check to see if data is corrupted. sumtin like that -- only happens when i rename folders
I just thought of sumtin, maybe its because i have my ROMS and savegames in the original folder, so when i rename, all the data gets messed up and can't be read by the emu cuz of the new folder names.

The answer is simple - navigate back to PSP/GAME in SNES9xTYL, and selectt he new snes9x folder, and go into ROMS. Try loading up a ROM, and tell me what happens. |
