Hi!
Well I was thinking about the different downgraders out there. The 2.5/2.6 downgrader , the 2.00, and the 1.5 downgrader. Some say after a 2.5 dg update to 2.0 0and the back down to 1.5.
I understand why, but it only get to 99% if i'm correct. Wouldnt it be better to dg to 1.00 then back upp to 1.5?
Getting rid of the "nasty" sheet left in the psp, from the dg.
Anyone know?

Points: 100,114.18 Donate | | | i wood downgrade to 1.00 then update to 1.50 so u get a full update, 2.5/2.6-->1.50 fail at 99% just like 2.00 downgrade and u dont get the full update so if u downgrade to 1.00 then upgrade to 1.50 its like a virgin 1.50 |

Points: 214.13 Donate | | | The 2.0 downgrade fails at 99% because Flash0 is completely written, but it refuses to flash to the flash1 sector because it realises that it has just downgraded, which is why you get the blue screen error. Pressing [0] at the blue screen completes the downgrade. This method is clean.
The 1.50 downgrade IS messy however. It is alot more messy as 1.0 was never meant to be written after previous version, so it cannot use an update file. It has to write to the flash using it's own code.
It is safer to use the 2.00 downgrade. |
