Can the DS play any homebrew or Emulators?

I think I heard a while back that the DS had homebrew. Is this true? And can it have Emulators also? It's kinda hard to imagine.

Ya, there is a lot of homebrew, but you need to buy a flash cart seperately.

I just can't imagine how they get it to run on the DS...Do you guys think/know if the DS has SNES emus or anything big? I'm not gonna get a DS but this fanboy on another forum told me that the PSP can't run N64 games and the DS can. I called it Bullshit and told him all those games are scaled down from the N64 version. But he's just a moron....

It's not really possible on the PSP. To have N64 Emulators on the PSP would be way too much trouble, and it wouldn't even run smoothly. N64 emu's probably wont make it to the PSP, maybe until ALL homebrew is done, and ALL emulators done are at full speed. That would give people time to work on it, but I doubt they would get it going at a descent rate. Sorry to say this but N64 wont make it.
