Hm, to explain it exactly:
It boots another another firmware on your 1.0/1.5-PSP firmware, and it doesn't write to the flash at all, the firmware is on your memory stick, so you wont have to worry about bricking it. It will just launch the firmware from the MS and gogogo.

But how do you set your network configurations? When I start it and I want to make a connection and I scan for a wireless internet point it gives me an error? any solutions for this? Or do I have to make my network configurations in 1.5 and then start it?

If you did it correctly you should have copied and overwritten the contents of the flash1.zip file that came with the MPH Firmware Loader to the flash1 of the 2.5 dump. When you start the loader make sure the wifi switch is off, and when it loads for the first time, go straight to network settings and it should let you save a connection. Turn the wifi switch on after it tells you that its off. Once a connection is saved it should be there everytime you load the fw. The browser might freeze the first time you try to use it but just restart and try again.

Hope it helps!

I think you can use the flash0 from a 1.5! If so, just use file assistance to get it!
