it's threads like these that make me wonder why I even come to this site...

If you decide to take the chance of brincking your psp, even though it's iffy, and it gets bricked: Why are you shocked or angry, of all things. Esp if you are just running around bricking them because you have no financial investment.

Test it, brick a psp, come in and say it bricked yours, tell what exact steps you took - only then are you helping anyone at all.

Dont come in here all cross eyed yelling "omfGhax! Brick!Fake! lockthe thread and beat this person up!"; that just makes people roll thier eyes.

your the person who run the program
he didnt some how use the force to make your psp brick itself
your the person that went ahead and tried it
any one with even a bit of common sence would NEVER be the first to try a downgrader on a fw that they havent even got a hello world on
you only have yourself to blame
