well devhook still doesnt even work with 2.8 right? i dont think itll work with the psp emu. no way would they let that fly. call me a pessimest. i still have my fingers crossed tho

well probably dark alex and booster have decrypted 2.8 and emulated it but they don't want sony to know so if 3.00 or something comes out they won't make the security stronger that thats y they don't release it or maybe they need more time to emulate it who knows

Believe me if 2.80 was decrypted, we would definatly know, all we need is the decrypted and decompressed reboot.bin, then we could easily emulate 2.80, and i dought they would be working together since Booster is japanese and i dont think he speaks english

Edit: And sony is probly gonna call the firmware with the PS1 emu 3.0, and thats not supposed to come out til around christmas, so they wouldnt keep that from us for that long, and if anyone would be the first to know about Dark_Alex decrpyting 2.80, it would be www.ps2nfo.com , they were always the first to have Dark_Alex's work up.
