no they have always had flash 1 reformatting since 1.5
but i dont see why sony doesnt put a recovery mode for flash 0 thats just stupid

but you see, the red screen was only if someone erased their flash0 files

when you erase your flash1 files, u get a blue screen

since devhook emulates the flash1 and flash0 files of a FW, when you format your MS, that means the flash0/flash1 files are deleted, which means, technically, you "reformatted" your flash0

when that happened, instead of the usual blue screen, a red screen popped up in its place with a different message as well

so this must mean that SONY must of anticipated people somehow messing up their flash0 files and therefore gave that screen as the result?

that would quite amazing but theres no way to test if that always happens
unless we got fileassitant to work on 2.71 on devhook

I Got a RSOD (R for Rainbow) when i took out my DDR Ram out of my comp while running the screen it went ranbow colors dooming it even when i put it back in turning off and back on (this was on my windows 95 comp LOL TAKE THAT BILLY GATES!!!)

When I did that it left me in 2.71 till I rebooted
