Points: 26.70 Donate | | PSP Clean FW install from 2.60 Downgrade? My PSP was originally a 1.50 when I bought it then I upgraded to 2.00 then 2.5 then 2.60 then downgraded to 1.50. I herd that the 2.60 downgrader was a unclean install and can cause bricks in ThemePSP. I don't want to use ThemePSP I don't want a modded FW but the unclean FW I might have makes me wonder. So yesterday I saw the PSP 1.50 to 1.00 Downgrader. Tried it it worked perfect but then I couldn't use Devhook 0.46 so I upgraded back to 1.50 with my Coded Arms UMD. Will this make my PSP have a clean FW install now after I upgraded from 1.00 to 1.50 with the official updater? If you want to know my PSP FW history is 1.50 -> 2.00 -> 2.50 -> 2.60 -> 1.50 -> 2.60 -> 1.50 -> 1.00 -> 1.50 -> 1.00 ->1.50 |

The 2.50/60 downgrader to 1.50 makes it "unclean" as you said, Correct. Ways to make it clean:
Update to 2.00 - Then downgrade to 1.50 using MPH Downgrader.
Use the firmware trick & make it think its v1.00 (my fave) and then upgrade to 1.50
The use of the "Official Sony Eboot" file will make all downgraded PSP's "clean" again.
The downgrader did its job, It flashed the PSP, There were still some traces of the "2.50/60" PSP that made it "unclean".
Hope this helps with your questions,
Thanks
