| | | | Homebrew with GTA:LCS What is wrong??
Hello everyone,
This is my first attempt to write here.
I had FW 2.01 and I wanted to try the Homebrew with this one. So I bought a GTA:LCS and got my self a copy of the eLoader. I followed the instructions by copying what ever in the /game directory and the /savedata to the memory card.
When I started the GTA:LCS it asked me to upgrade the FW to 2.6 (I didn't have problem with this as I know the downgrade is available now). I did the upgrade and started the game. I got a message saying "Load failed. Save data is corrupted".
Did I do anything wrong by copying everything from the eLoader folders? Or I got new release of GTA:LCS that doesn't have the exploit anymore? ?

Points: 491.56 Donate | | | You did everything PERFECT, but you missed one HUGE fact, you have the patched GTA: LCS, the patched has a 2.60 update on it, and with the patched one you cant use ANY eloader or cheatdevice, so if you want to fix it then go to a store and get a dif GTA : LCS, try getting a used one as it has to be unpatched so you can use homebrew and downgrade, the unpatched version has a 2.0 update on it, otherwise your screwed |

| | | | It never crossed my mind that I will get the patched GTA:LCS, not from that place not from that store. I guess I was unlucky twice, when I upgraded from 2.00 to 2.01, when I bought the damn patched GTA:LCS.
However, I still feel lucky I don't have the TA-082.

Points: 491.56 Donate | | Well its obvious you dont have a TA-082 if you have a 2.01, its SUPER rare to see a TA-082 2.01 psp, well hope you can find an unpatched version, got any friends that have GTA, ask to see theirs for a sec and see if it has the 2.0 or 2.60 update on it, if it has 2.0 than ask if you can borrow it for an hour so you can downgrade  |

Points: 491.56 Donate | | | Well, reason it hasnt is because the only way you can tell if its patched is with it in your psp, the whole guide on QJ about finding out from the package was bull, it worked for U.K or something |
