| | | | could this work as a 2.01 downgrader.
has the index.dat been changed in 2.01 or is it just 2.5 and 2.6. if they haven't changed it in 2.01 then couldn't we change the h.bin that came with the MPH downgrader and use it in the gta hello world as hw.bin with the index.dat file. this would mean replacing the hello world .bin file with the MPH .bin and also using the MPH modified index.dat
just an idea.

Points: 10,011.87 Donate | | | It won`t work . To downgrade you need firmware access which the GTA exploit doesn`t have . Also the MHP downgrader has to be written in a way that it would actually load on the exploit , which would still be pointless if it can`t access the flash

People like Fanjita are working very hard to hack it and i`m sure it will be hacked soon enough . Remember that this takes a lot of time and its a lot of work and they are also risking bricking their psp`s .

| | | | ok. don't mean to sound negative but by what you have been saying about no access to the flash and if it has been encrypted, downgrading seems almost 100% impossible. |

But if another exploit/hole is found that might have firmware access then that will be another story . As far as i know the index.dat in 2.01 is the same as of 2.00 . Another thing and i`m sure most people would agree would be the most ideal is finding an exploit with FULL KERNEL MODE on 2.01/2.5/2.6 and that wau we wouldn`t even need downgraders because the iso loaders would be adapted to run .
