And how do you expect that by copying files, you'll be firmware 1.50? Think it through:
Firmware = NAND Flash (Inaccessible on 2.70+).
Personal Files = Memory stick.
Think of the firmware as your operating system. Swapping files from an earlier firmware to a later firmware will not make a 1.50. What you're saying is like swapping a file from Windows XP with that of Windows 2000 thinking that you'll have a new operating system. Sorry it doesn't work that way.
Besides, the memory stick has nothing to do with the operating system, and nothing you can do to your memory stick will ever affect your firmware. |

Try pugging it into a card reader, or putting the PSP in USB mode. Otherwise, there is no way of fixing it without hardware and the programming kit for your particular memory stick's make and model.
If you deleted the "MEMSTICK.IND" and "MSTK_PRO.IND" 0 byte files from the root of the memory stick, then that may be the problem. Otherwise, e-mail the manufacturer. (All Sony and Sandisk sticks should have warranty). | |
