Kernel Mode?

Ok, dumb question again probebly, sorry for that. I have homebrew for my 2.0 psp (wanted to play gta) and when I go to run certain things like pacman it says I need a kernel mode application. What is this may I ask? And where do I get it and how do I use it??? Thanks!!!

U see, you canonly run partial homebrew on the 2.0 because there is no kernal mode access. 1.5 has kernal mode access. Basically the gta hack goes through user mode, which cant allow for a downgrade but can boot small homebrew like a few emulators.

So about the Emulators, will we be able to run SNES and Nes and Gameboy at full speeds?

that's like asking "when will there be a downgrader?"
just wait!
emulators are getting better with every release, just try once in a while
to answer, yes we will be able to do so, because the hardware is so much inferior to the psp that the cpu can emulate all these systems with no probs.
