i want to know if someone with a ta-082 uses dark_alex downgrader but instead of the 1.5 dump they use the 2.6 dump since 2.6 is able to use homebrew? would this be possible or would dark_alex have to rewrite a whole new downgrader for this.

Hmmm....I think it would be possible. I'd say downgrade to 2.5 and then upgrade to 2.6 for one of those "clean" installs.

I really think you should just wait. Fanjita is working on an e-loader (I think), and at that point, there is no reason for 2.6'ers to stay there. Save yourself the wear on your flash, and a possible brick and wait.

yea thats what i told that guy i have a 1.5 but this one guy just asked me at psp-spot and i told him the same just wanted to be sure

Yep. I understand that guy's point though. I was thrilled when I found out that homebrew was comming to my 2.6. But for whatever reason, I was never too interested in downgrading till dev-hook could emulate 2.71, and then I downgraded to try out the Loco-Roco demo.

I still only dev-hook 2.6 becuase I like the GTA cheat device
