before you downgrade make sure you don't have a TA-082 PSP.

A big thanks to everyone who helped, I now have a 1.5. I am now just reaading through the posts now to figure out what happens now......

some of the software I have are iso's and some are cso's.

I just have to work out what plays with what and how to? also are there any other formats I should keep my eye out for? I only really want to use it for games....

You need an ISO loader, Devhook.
I donno where to get it, but search around a little.
Basically, anything that's homebrew, you can play it with 1.5.
