Hi folks,

i have an EU-1004-PSP, v2.01.
And a HUGHE interest in homebrew-stuff rather than in games that i could play on a PC MUCH more comfortable.
But the PSP is awesome due to WLAN, display, stuff like this.

i freak out since the possible exploit of edison's GTA-cheat was discovered:
just buy GTA:LCS.
get the cheat.
start being hopeful for a possible downgrade.
and so i did.
at last.
bought GTA.
got the cheat.
wondered it didn't work.
realized it didn't work due to my german version of the game.
hopped in the net.
found a forum.
"savegames are different", someone says.
cheat WON'T work.
ah, ok.
no problem.
hopped to edison's site.
willing to email.
knew, he won't dance if he hears about incompatibility of german savegames.
but i don't want him to program it.
i would organize that with people like me: owners of german GTA.
but: edison's email can not be found anywhere.
PLUS i read in this forum here, edison will probably NOT give out any source.
so i have a problem:
i'm willing to program/port the cheat to german GTA.
i have to get in touch with edison somehow.
but i don't KNOW how.

some could give me a hint?

Hmmm....
What you say is logic.
But try to put in Edisons shoes: if he will publish his e-mail, his mail box will be filled with TONS of e-mails asking:
- for help with game "ZipZap",
- if SaveGame "GniffoGnaffo" cheater is possible,
- when downgrade for FirmWare 3.14c will be released,
- why he did not release yet any crack for "KalekiMaleki" game,
- if he will give out his source code,
and trash like that.
He will spend 100% (and more) of his time, cancelling all this garbage mails, than developing a free downgrader for us.
Plus, i suppose he will have a *life* to live, not answering mails all over the world.

More, i suppose all these hackers are a bit jealous of their code, and he will not give away his work, his knowledge, his glory, so easy.

Only thing we can do, is playing with PSP we bought, and wait & hope somebody (Edison Carter?) will ever release a downgrader/exploit, or so.

i purely understand the non-publication of any email-adress. no probs, i would do that neither. But we have a hughe programming scene here in germany and everyone being able to access exploit-status on a 2.xx-PSP could be

A POSSIBLE HELPER FOR DEVELOPING A DOWNGRADER!

That inflicts me the same way as it would do with a few hundred other guys, that have no possibility to get that cheat to run and therefore are no use for this scene.

And neither edison nor anyone else could seriously want us to develop an OWN cheatcode from the SCRATCH just beacuse there ist jealoucy in the air?
what does THIS help the community for?

i don't think the portation of the cheat to the german savegame structure is a big deal. it would cost a few time to realize and it would widen the scene by possibly a few hundred people helping the community.

i don't catch the point what's wrong in that.

well, maybe. but as everybody knows now, the GTA exploit cannot access the flash. BUT I HAVE AN IDEA, could there be a way to edit other parts of the gamesave, so when you browse through your gamesaves in the Saved Data Utility under GAME, a code will be executed to run tetris? prolly wont work, but its worth a try!

**EDISON SAID GET A GERMAN GAVESAVE, ANY GAMESAVE, UPLOAD ANY PSP GAMES SAVEDATA TO RAPIDSHARE AND THE PM IT TO ME!

wow, you got lucky! hey can you ask him if a code can be run through the Saved Data Utility? if so, can he work on one? that way we wouldn't need the game! or is the exploit on the game?

Look I've been contacting edison for 2 months I'm not lucky, I just know The right people in the right places

NOW SOMEONE GET ME A GERMAN SAVE GAME!!! NOW!!! QUICK!!!

i found european, japanese, and american. will any of those do?
