Ok, I need help compressing a file down so I can put it on YouTube. Its about 174 megabytes and I need it lower than 100. Alright, I found a new exploit in the SETTINGS/SYSTEM SETTINGS, "Restore Default Settings" option. I put a video up on YouTube of me "exploiting" this. (I do not know if this could brick your psp, so, try it at your own risk) (Only tested on Firmwares 2.71 and 2.80) I'm still messing around with it, trying to make my 2.80 a 1.50. Points: 491.73 Donate | | LMAO, i bet this so called exploit dont do anything we dont know of, and if its shorter than 5 mins then go to www.xilisoft.com and download the Video to PSP converter, which will convert to MP4, which MP4 has very high compression, so it should work out ok.
But, what does this so called exploit do, and how did you execute it? |

Points: 491.73 Donate | | | First off, there was no need to open 3 different threads on the SAME subject, learn how to edit posts.
Second, its not an exploit, all you did was restore your default settings and it corrupted em instead, which could have been caused from you taking out the battery or putting in sleep mode, unless you explain exactly what you did to cause this, its nothing.
Edit: And you should give up now, trying to make your 2.80 a 1.50 will never work, their is no kernal mode on 2.80, and even if their was, you forget the fact that the IPL checks the unique signature of each prx on your flash in 2.80+, which would be alot harder to get past than 2.71 was | |
