Question NDS... Can it be done?

we've seen a lot of emu's come out for the psp... SnesTYL, DGEN, Neo Geo Pocket, ect ect... And most recently gPSP which proved to all the unbelievers that full-speed GBA is possible on the PSP... but a new question now arises... Nintendo DS... Can our beloved psp handle it? Give your opinion...

Nah, i dont think so, it may only have a 50mhz processor but it has numerous chips to back it up, it would take more than 333mhz and around 25mb of ram to emulate that, plus we cant even emulate it successfully on a PC yet, the hardware is too different, and dont forget the touch screen, it just wouldnt work right

doubt we would be able to get full speed out of it, but i believe it would be possible to get an emulator for it...

but how would you emulate the touch screen with the psp?

im sorry but what a ridiculous question. You cant emulate the Nintendo DS for one simple reason. Read.. the.. name.

Nintendo DUAL SCREENS

Does the PsP have dual screens? no. It wouldnt make sense.

So how are you going to play games like

Trauma center
StarFox
Brain Training
Big Brain Academy
Resident Evil Deadly Silence
Animal Crossing
Nintendogs
Age of Empires: Age of Kings

To name a few. You cant play a DUAL SCREEN game on a regular screen handheld. Its like trying to play an xbox game in a ps2, it doesnt work, it just doesnt.

Well, if they could get the processing down and all the chips, then making something to act like a touch screen wouldnt be that hard, what someone could do is emulate the 2 screens once on top of the other, but long way, and make a mouse kinda thing like the web browser, and use that to hover over the other screen with the analog stick.

Its not impossible, but if all that is concured, then sure it could be done

it would be easier to just save up the money to buy a DS (i jus sold mine for a new 5.1 speaker system) than to wait for an emulater the emulator would just take to long to perfect.
