Well, the other "dude" might be a little rusty.

As Freeplay said, the encryption key does not change every second. The PUBLIC key is stored on the PSP, I believe.
The encryption key wouldn't help to downgrade, also like Freeplay said.

Lastly, the encryption key WILL NOT be found. Period.

Well, unless you happen to have a supercomputer capable of cracking encryption codes possibly 100 characters long.

We don't need the encryption key. Besides, cracking it would raise major legal issues. It's just like stealing someone's online password, not good.

A lot of people say a lot of stuff.
But what freeplay sais is most likely NORMALY true.
No one will get the encryption key, EVER!

P.S. The only time I remeber freeplay being wrong was when he said custom firmware wouldnt happen.. But it did and people wont let me forget it lol

Thanks

ok the "encryption key" or checksum retacular (pretty sure i didn't spell it right) DOESN'T CHANGE EVERY SECOND OR HOW THE HELL WOULD SONY EVEN BE ABLE TO RUN THEIR GAMES ON THE LATEST FIRMWARE IF THE CHECKSUM DOENS'T EXIST IN THE FIRMWARE shit sorry for all caps
well n e ways if we would find that encryption we would be able to run homebrew on EVERY firmware since it would be signed

c im not sure if this is exactly what you were looking for as an answer but there u go is what i think!

Is it warm and dark up there?

"There" meaning your rear end, because I think your head is stuck up it.

And you didn't need to go and start another post on this subject. http://psp3d.com/homebrew-hacking/11...ncryp-key.html
