I was wondering if anyone was able to stream dvds with the VLC player and if so, how? I was able to stream TV, but every time i try to stream a dvd it just says "Error opening file" or something to that effect. Just wondering if any one could help me out...

As far as I know... I have it pointing to my E:\ drive which is my DVD drive so i dont understand why its not working... Also I have all of the ports open but I didn't know if they were UDP or TCP so I opened both of them.

have u ran any other files like avi's or mpeg's

No, I just tryed that and that doesn't work either.... so far only streaming tv works.
