in other words, if you take my word for it and decide to try it, dont blame me if it does go wrong! :P


I think if you did it it couldnt brick, as the flash0 of an emulated firmware is on the memory stick and not actually the hardware flash0. and if it was successful all you will have done is make your emulated 2.71 into an emulated 1.50. Which is pointless as, why the hell would you wanna use a 1.50 to emulate a 1.50?!?!? lol.

Well he's just curious, and I've actually been wondering about this too.

I'd assume that it would work, but I wouldn't try it just in case.

When you use DevHook, it basically redirects any Flash0: call to MS:/Flash0:. I'm not sure if the downgrader would somehow override that, but I'd certainly choose to not attempt it.

Unless you're willing to brick your PSP, the world will just have to keep wondering. ;P

hey i was gonna use devhhook to try the first 2.5-2.6 downgrader to see if it would brick or not but people said it wouldnt work cause itll write to devhooks flash not the psp's
