Points: 8.62 Donate | | Well i did it the recovery way thanx for the tip and then re installed 2.71 se, still same problem i found out it will load 1.5 umds but not anything higher?? yet if i back them up to iso it will play all of them. But i maneged to emulate 2.6 now that loads umds fine so i guess this will have to do. Thanx any way guys. |

Oh and I posted to say that my SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006 doesn't work in this FW.

DO NOT USE A DOWNGRADER IF YOU ARE RUNNING 2.71 SE-A. ANYONE WITH KNOWLEDGE OF HOW THE NEW FIRMWARE WORKS WILL AGREE THAT THIS IS LIKELY TO CAUSE A BRICK, UNLESS Dark_Alex has specifically MADE it so you could use the downgrader. The readme didnt say he did (not that anyone reads them anymore so who knows what i'm talking about..) so STICK with the recovery\eboot.pbp running method of flashing 1.5 or reflashing 2.71 SE-A.
I found that when i first flashed 2.71 SE-A everything had gone mental. Graphics were screwy, couldnt load any homebrew at all, etc. So i ran recovery back to 1.5, then reflashed to 2.71 SE-A, and now all is good. All my homebrew, ISO's and UMD's work, including iRShell v2.2se8, DevHookMod 0.45, OpenTTD PSP, PiMPStreamer, etc etc etc
EDIT: SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006 ISO works fine for me. I have about 30 ISO's, about 5 of them reported as NON WORKING UNDER 2.71 SE-A, but i managed to get them all working fine. It's coz i'm smart.

Points: 8.62 Donate | | Well iv recoverd it twice now and its kinda sorted it self out now nearly all my umd's load fine exept for a few, smack down vs raw, pro evolution soccer, and madden 06 dunno why. But im just gona back them up to ms as its only 3 thanx for your help |

I never use my UMD's, i only have a 2GB MS so can only fit a few games on but i enjoy the faster loading times and increase of battery life
