is this update safe?
over the few days i have had trouble upgrading to 2.71. i tried multiple eboots but when it started it said "the update is corrupted". i just remembered i had a 2.00 requring UMD. is it safe to upgrade with that??

try formatting + error checking your memstick that should allow normal eboot updates from the game folder

p.s. backup your save data etc

Make sure you have the proper 2.71 Update Eboot:

2.71 Eboot

Then place a folder called UPDATE - (with caps) - in your PSP>GAME folder.

Then run the update.
