Recovery mode just lets you modify settings and boot an app at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY, not remove the firmware - you need to downgrade to get rid of it.

So what all can you do in this custom firmware? I am anxious to try out some cool apps. It's been a while since I was updated on the psp scene, as some of you may recall I am having a few problems at the moment. Thanks.

Thank you very much for you help and thoughts for my mother.
I plan to use the iso loader and maybe back up a few of my games so I don't have to carry them with me. lol. But I need to find some cool emu's and app.s to hook up as well. I am about to clear my mem stick to make room for new stuff.

One homebrew everyone should have is Attack Of The Mutants 0.4. It's an AWESOME 2d spage shooter, with intuitive controls, fantastic gameplay and gets you hooked right to the end, even though it keeps on going after the boss on level 10. If anyone wants to know, my high score is 20080, and I got up to level 12.

Theres a better one it's some kind of shooter I used to have called something with a c I forget the real name. It was a 20MB app. and it was really long and pretty cool GUI. What is the best shell? IRShell? Can you give me a list of homebrew thats' on your psp to give me ideas please?

DorkDork, you can fix the corrupt icons.

The easiest way is to use the corrupt homebrew fixer. You can find it HERE.

You can also just get the PARAM.SFO from a working EBOOT, modify the title and replace the original PARAM.SFO from the broken EBOOT.

Sure -
  • Attack of the Mutants
  • Daedalus
  • gpSP 0.8
  • Homer's RIN
  • Install-o-tron
  • iR Shell
  • NesterJ
  • Quake
  • SNES9xTYL 0.4me
  • Squarez
  • Devhook
  • LocoRoco
  • Dungeon

I also have a few apps that are just practical, not pretty, like the demo decrypter, UMD DAX dumper 0.2, and a few more.

And LostProphet, I don't want to get rid of the corrupt icons. The corrupt icons are games that shouldn't appear corrupt, as they are both for 1.0. (All my apps are for 1.0 )
