Points: 117.19 Donate | | | advantages/ disadvantages for 2.71
Ok I have done alot of reading on the new stuff out for 2.71. Like all the revision stuff. But I still don't know what it does. Can any one clear this up for me. Also what are the advantages and disadvantages to having this. I ask this because I am thinking of upgrading to 2.71. I actaully have alot of questions. Such as is there an eloader for 2.71 or can you load homebrew from the xmb? Is there a downgrader for 2.71 to 1.50? If I have the revision stuff on my psp can I remove it? If I have the revision stuff on my psp, so I need to remove it to downgrade?
Sorry about all the questions. I have been kinda absent from the PSP scene for a couple of months and now all this stuff came out. But finally everything is finally calming down at college and I can finally breathe again.  |

Points: 1.10 Donate | | | If you're talking about the custom firmware, I'd suggest upgrading to it. It allows you to have all the capabilities of 1.5 and 2.71. You can run the Browser with flash and everything, while still have 99% homebrew capabilites.

Points: 84,973,253,486.78 Donate | | | Well, many apps like X-Flash have not been ported for 2.71, only 1.50. However, there are many works-in-progress which offer the same features, such as the 2.71 SE Customizer. |

If you're using 2.71 (not SE) Use the auto-downgrader. It's basically like a setup, only it downgrades for you.

I did some searching about a downgrader for 2.71 to 1.50. Do I need a Downdater folder like I did for the 2.50/2.60 downgrader? and also will I be able to downgrade with the SE-whatever installed? | |
