Yeah, I found this supposedly new LocoRoco demo on DCEmu.co.uk (see here)
I of course tried the original hacks (both just using a hex editor and attempting to use Dark Alex's Decryptor Test), and it will let you start the demo, not run it on 2.71 SE B.
From what I heard, this runs fine on 2.80 (if you hex edit it to have that value, see that hacked version here), and it does have music, animation, and a background image if you hover over the demo...
Could someone with an 2.81, 2.82 or a 2.80 test this and let me know if it is a new demo... and if there is a way for us 2.71 se b2 users to play as well?

However, I did hack it open, took the background, animated icon, the sound effects, etc, and built it into my default LocoRoco demo (original).
^_^ SO even if I can't play this new one yet, I can at least make my old one look nicer (on the icon). |

I went to the website, and if you look around or watch the intro demo, you can see SEVERAL LocoRoco, different shapes and colors, and apparently with different abilities...
OH PLEASE SOMEONE HACK THIS!

OH, the blood soaked hands that clench my battery dead psp twitch at the thought at the next LR fix...
^_^;;; also, since my umd drive is broken, I really don't have much of a choice.
