while installing it on my friends psp it froze up. it froze when it was extracting the files for the 2.71 part. the memory stick light was solid. it finnaly progressed. when it finished it rebooted and looked fine(surprisingly). i went into system settings and tested "enable flash Player". it showed up and then gave me an immediate blue screen of death.
it was a different blue screen then normal. i think what happened is that it has more 1.5 then 2.71 so it crashes since 1.5 dosnt have that feature.

what should i do??

Wow, that's both bad and lucky. The firmware files are apparently getting along for now. Can you use a downgrader or something, then start over?

hmmmm thats weird i got that problem too but i pressed O and tried the flash enabler again and it worked fine try downgrading and upgrade again and if it happends again try making another .dxar (think thats what its called lol not sure)

and i think that there is more 2.71 files than 1.5......... because it takes longer flashing the 2.71 files and the dump looks like a modded 2.71 with more files (those must be the 1.5) like new folders in there like flash0/kn and flash0/vsh/nodule (it also has module) but i think nodule is the 1.5 one but yea..... very well made
