Points: 0.71 Donate | | New 2.80 Compatible Tiff Homebrew! SG57 is at it again with two new 2.80 compatible pieces of brew! The first one, TCalc 0.1, is the first 2.80 compatible calculator to hit the web. it features basic math, negative number support, basic trig (sine, cosine), an easy to use interface, and much more! He also has released a new demo called SnowField, which is similar to his StarField demo, but this time you chang the color of the snow. Check out his site and download his TIFF content at SG57's Recent Developments .

Maybe in the next year or 2. I know how you feel. I thought it was ok to upgrade to 2.8 when we found out there was a TIFF exploit. :/ |

SG57 is almost like the Fanjita of 2.8 homebrew. Now all we need is a TIFF Loader or something.

And even before then, you could give flash0 another name, an important part of the process of writing to it. Now, we can't even do that. Flash0 refuses to be renamed, and there's no kernel mode. So this isn't just a matter of finding a kernel access exploit anymore. It's a matter of figuring out how to rename flash0 when the system absolutely refuses to do so.
From what I've seen, the general consensus among developers - including folks like Fanjita, Dark_AleX, and Mathieulh - seems to be that downgrading 2.80 and above won't happen for a long time. We're talking about several months here, possibly even a year or more. |

But what I'm confused is we haven't heard from Fanjita in awhile. Hes probally busy to give us news on the eLoader. | |
