i prefer the launcher mod btw | Sure. Try this, however, I don't think that it would load the ISO's from USBhost because nothing has instructed it to do so. So, it would probably be better to just use a Devhook mod. (They all work with 271SE). You're best off using Chunglam's Launcher mod v1.65c, I would say.
Anyway:
Copy the USBhost PRX onto the memory stick and name it "USBHOSTFS.PRX".
Copy the "PSPBTCNF.TXT" from "Flash0:\kn" into a folder in the root of your memory stick called "Reflash". Under the line "$/kd/fatmsmod.prx" in the file, at one reading "$/kd/USBHOSTFS.prx". Reflash it using recover mode in the option "flash pspbtcnf.txt (2.71)".
Using PSPfiler v1.5 (Google it), activate hacker mode with [L]+[<]+[R]. Press [Select] and then [O] to switch to English, then press [X].
Highlight the PRX and press [X], then press [O]. Press [Start] and navigate to the 'KN' folder. Highlight any file in that folder, ensuring that you havn't highlighted any folder or a file in "Resource". Press [X] and then [/\] to copy the PRX file into there.
It should work now. |

So although the PRX is installed and waiting in the XMB, I don't think that it will load ISO's from that place without prompting, which would require the firmware to be modified to interact with the PRX, or indeed modify the PRX so that the XMB is forced to load them from USB. Either way, you'd need some coding skills.
I would just suggest using Devhook to be honest. |

You would also need to do the same with pspbtcnf_game.txt or it will be unloaded when game mode starts and it wont read the usbhostfs any more
p.s. it might be easier to flash as little to flash as poss i'd recommend making a folder on memstick called usb copy the usbhostfs.prx to it and the add "ms0:/usb/usbhostfs.prx" after "$/kd/fatmsmod.prx" in both pspbtcnf_game.txt and pspbtcnf.txt reflash them back. the file will need to stay on the memstick but less is flashed less bricking chances.

p.s. if any one does try it i'd recommend my method as if there are any more se updates you dont have to worry about space on the flash and you can undo it all in the recovery menuby reflashing the original pspbtcnf.txt and pspbtcnf_game.txt
