i installed a custom gb on my se-b and it worked . i tried a different one that was over the megabyte limit and it sai verify failed. it installed a plain white gameboot instead. now when i try to install the one that worked before it gives me "verify failed" . im using X-Flash v16d.
whats happening??? |

To me it sounds like the gameboot got corrupted. It happened to me be4. Just reinstall 2.71 SE again and then try be more careful when using x-flash. Then everything should be fine. Thats all I had to do to fix it.  |

go to the psp-hacks forum, they heve custom gameboots and bootsounds
can i reinstall se-b straight from it or do i hav to dg first.

Points: 7.93 Donate | | | Check out the 'ultimate gameboot thread' here on PSP3D somewhere, there are nearly a hundred in there.
Iv only had one problem with SE-B so far... i cant debrand the DAMN PSP LOGO from the gameboot intro (previous methods for debranding the 1.5 remove HALF of the text, just not the big "PSP" :S)

It's wierd coz it debrands the "Playstation Portable" text, but not the "PSP" text.... :S

Points: 21.55 Donate | | | give version 16f a try. and yes if you still have the data.dxar just copy it plus the files from seflasher folder to "game\recovery" and use the recover option in recovery mode.
