what do you think!? as of now nobody knows but what do ya think?
i think there will be basic hombrew (no kernal modifications no isos)
so basicly all the boring stuff. |

They could have done that thing earlier. They haven't done it before, so I don't see why they're going to allow it now.

Points: 440,654.87 Donate | | | I don't think so because If they give us homebrew capabilities, it will be easier to get kernal acess. We were able to get around their security on the majority of their updates with homebrew completely "blocked." And as for homebrew on the PS3, it isn't that easy to put iso's on the PS3 (as far as I know. I don't know much about the PS3). I say this based on the fact that sony will probably have downloads through a "Sony store" type thing on the PS3 and not connect the console to the computer like with the PSP. |

Points: 84,973,253,489.59 Donate | | | Well, for the PS3, it seems like they would allow it. I mean, the game discs may have some sort of encryption to prevent piracy. That's the main reason why Sony won't allow homebrew on the PSP, ISOs. |

Points: 62.62 Donate | | | Ask yourself the earlier questions. Asfar as I know nobody has even cracked 2.80, giving the standard capabilities of homebrew to run eboot platform games. They patched that up with 2.81 after the news got out to sony. Them there was 2.82, which I don't think has patches but might be teasing homebrew users.
Sony's 3.00 fw would most likly give psp capabilities to wirlessly play with the ps3, not any patches.
But if there are patches that are put into 3.00 fw, then there is a chance of hope for users stuck with 2.8x |
