Im an unfortunate 2.80 psp user, and im getting bored with the standard xmb. So that got me to thinking, why not create a usermode EBOOT that has all the features of the xmb (and hopefully more), set a TIFF app that loads the eboot as the wallpaper, and add an uninstall feature to the new shell to create a fully functional and removable xmb replacement that doesnt even touch the flash0 and barely skims the Flash1. Any comments? |

Don't get your hopes up.
You're on your own with the TIFF, although 0okm has a TIFF autoloader, you could just modify the files.
Wouldn't it be easier just to do something with iRShell? |

2. It doesnt have to be bmp, its been proven that this method works.
3. Im not talking about just remaking the standard xmb. Im talking unique, customizable, one of a kind, awesome looking xmbs. |

good on ya! i can sorta do GFX, but i cant code for sh*t
and too be honest, maybe modifying an irShell app would/could be a better idea, because then you can release a good, working, POC.
then build your own from the ground up, using the methods you learned.
this would mean that you would know its a problem with your coding, rather than a bad filepath, saving you a fair bit of trouble shooting XD
