My niece got a pink 2.80 psp from father xmas. My bro has asked me if it's possible to d/g to get same functionality as my psp (1.5-3.03dh) but I don't know if she's got a TA version or not until this evening (then can use the new 2.80 downgrader).

Anyway, whilst researching, I cam across the 3.02-OA and OB releases and wondered if it's better to upgrade than to downgrade to 1.5 for ease.

Any recommendations?

to upgrade to 3.02oe you need to downgrade to 1.50

Thanks, does that mean if she is not using 2.80 TA at the moment then there's nowt she can do?

What do you mean by TA? If you mean TA-082, I'm not sure if you can run the Generic Downgrader from that firmware, or get to 2.71 from it.

I think there was an article on qj a couple of weeks back abt pink psps, i think they sed they all have TA-086's which cant be downgraded yet. Hope this helped. *edit* also u cant directly upgrade to oe b or a u have to b on 1.5 for the best chance of it workin as it isnt official update and was designed to work on 1.5.

Well, well, well .... thanks to all those that contributed to the 2.80 - 2.71 downgrader. This evening, I will be dg her 2.80->2.71->1.5->3.02OEA->3.02OEB. Trrific!
