Points: 10.63 Donate | | | need help, flash problem help, i've managed to semi-brick my psp using x-flash on a 1.5, when the xmb loads up, a bsod occures, press circle and it repeats itself, load a umd game and go to load/save and it has no text on any of them, i think it may be a font problem, i have heard that you cam rum homebrew via umds so could sum1 tell me how it's done? please note that i cannot access my psp via computer but i have a copy of v3.02 OE-A on my memory stick

Points: 352.42 Donate | | | I don't think there's much you can do, but I do have one idea. Get a UMD that needs a firmware between 1.51 and 2.71, and it should tell you that you need to update, and may run the updater. Had you been on 3.02 OE, it would just be a matter of going into Recovery mode.
But may this be a lesson to everyone else - 3.02 OE could save your PSP. |

But may this be a lesson to everyone else - 3.02 OE could save your PSP. | this i tried but the same thing happens, i think that the update text is read off the flash0, and ironically i downgraded from 3.02 oe (god knows why). neways im getting a replacement of sony and they say that im getting a previously broken one that's been repaired and still has it's original firmware b4 it broke (hopefully it was bricked, so i could probably still run homebrew, mabe a failed 2.8 dg?)
