i have been away from this scene for while now but i have returned once again because my friend wants to play ps1 games on his psp.so my question is how do i install 3.03OE-A on his psp he has a white japanesse psp with 2.60 from looking at it doesnt have a tA-o82 board any guides you guys post will be very helpful.
p.s. prove to me that this scene is still NOOB friendly LOL,OH yeah what happened to fanjita!!

OK, what you need to do is this:

Find theacoffire's guide, use the search keywords 'pimp psp 2.71'. The thread title is something like 'Pimp my PSP! 2.71 and 1.50 firmware on same PSP', as it was made when 2.71 SE-A was released, but has been updated for up to 3.02 OE-B. However, once you're on 1.50, just follow the instructions in this thread.

And Fanjita is very much alive, and still developing for PSP, but I don't know what he's doing at the moment. His latest major release was eLoader 0.995 in November, and he released a few smaller projects later (like a decrypter for 3.00 and 3.01, and NetConfigBackup back in December).

i did steps 1-5 and every thing okay but when i run the generic downgrader a sign come up and says "error game could not start" what didi i do wrong?
