psp 3.03oe-a killed my psp.... kinda!

ok, i was updating my 3.02oe-b psp to 3.03oe-a, and i used the DATA.DXAR from upgrading to 3.02oe-a. when i updated, i remembered that it used 3.02 mot 3.03 in the DATA.DXAR 10 seconds later, i got an error! my psp shut off. i turn it back on and all i get is the mem stick light flashing on and off. i take a deep breath, and go to recovery mode, put the 1.50 update eboot in the psp/game/recovery forler and rename it as UPDATE.PBP (dont worry, the other files needed are their to) well, in recovery mode when i click on run program at psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp the screen go's black and the mem stick lights flash on and off! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont want to fight through sony to get a replacement

Dude, try redownloading the generic downgrader from here....
And try to downgrade to 2.71 using this eboot.

^_^;;; if it works, just reuse the generic downgrader to go to 1.50 and your done!

I know it's a long shot, but still...

possibly try putting the 3.02oe-a installer in the recovery folder and reinstalling the 3.02eo-a, as it might be safer to put the 3.02oe on than completely change the firmware, good luck

No probs - thought it would work (btw, i reflashed the systemctrl.prx(1.50) using the advanced options in the recovery menu, then ran the 3.03se updateflasher, with the data.dxar in the recovery folder)

If you hold R when you boot, does it display recovery?
