| | | | Do I have 3.03 OE-A or not? How do I verify? My PSP shows in system settings that I am running "3.03 OE-A" I bought a new PSP 2.71/TA-082 and downgraded it to 1.5 yesterday and then upgraded it to 3.03 OE-A using the DarkAlex technique and files. It looked OK to me but I'm a noobie.
Today I tried to upgrade further to 3.03 OE-B. I discovered that my PSP doesn't recognize /PSP/GAME150/... It does recognize /PSP/GAME/.. but could not run the upgrade game in the /PSP/GAME/.. folder (failed to load).
I am now suspicious that I simply managed to upgrade to plain jane 3.03. Is there a verification criterion for each upgrade version? How do I know what I've got. Am I missing something simple here?
After I got going in my supposed 3.03 OE-A, I reformatted the stick. Is that my problem?
Any help will be much appreciated!

| | | | Why don't I see games in /PSP/GAME150 from the XMB? But why doesn't my 3.03 OE-A find "games" in my /PSP/GAME150/... folder? Does this mean I don't have 3.03 OE-A or does it mean something else?
Thanks!

as for checking it, hold power slider up for 4 seconds to fully power off, then slide it up to power on and hold Right shoulder button if it boots in to recovery mode you have a 3.03oe-a if it boots in to xmb you have a normal psp.
if you enter recovery mode reply here about reinstalling the 3.03oe-a (you need the data.dxar and oeupflasher or a mate to make you one) or downgradeing to 1.50 (if you not got the data.dxar)

| | | | correct contents of 3.03OE-A/B /PSP/GAME directory Thanks very much DJCOPEY! I got the recovery screen. I discovered that my homebrew folder /PSP/GAME/GAME150 was disabled. I enabled it. Still no good! When I use the XMB to find a game, there are no games to be found! I think that perhaps I deleted something important from /PSP/GAME yesterday while I was horsing around ...
Can you tell me what files should be in /PSP/GAME/... and in /PSP/GAME150/... and in /PSP/GAME330/... and in /PSP/SYSTEM/... just prior to upgrade to 3.03OE-B?
Currently my /PSP looks like this:
/PSP/GAME150
/PSP/GAME150/OEB_UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP
/PSP/GAME303/
/PSP/GAME303/OEB_UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP
/PSP/SYSTEM
/PSP/SYSTEM/BROWSER/
/PSP/SYSTEM/BROWSER/history<x>.dat
That's it!
Should I have a /PSP/GAME/EBOOT.PBP file? Am I missing something obvious?
Regards and Thanks for the Patience, John |

Points: 21.55 Donate | | Try this for an easy option enter recovery mode and specify "Game" as 1.50 kernel folder then delete all game folders (game,game150 and game303 Plus all content within) then create to empty folders named GAME and GAME303.
in the current config GAME is the 1.50 homebrew and PS1 Emulator and GAME303 is 3.03 kernel, so put the OEB_Update folder straight in to the GAME folder so you have \psp\game\oeb_update\eboot.pbp and it should work good luck
