oh nozzzz

Oh nozzz! I seem to be locking up now that I am at 3.03 EOB when I try to start ISOs or other stuff. Also Ithink the PSP has a dead network connection Although I think it worked yesterday before I started flashing.

The sysinfo says I have a bunch of japanese characters for a the system firmware version.

I flashed up to 3.03 OEA then A2 then B. Was that the right thing to do?

Also what should I do, flash back down to 2.71 and then back to 1.50 and then back up to 3.03?

<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Ok I followed the info in this thread and I got back to 1.50.

http://psp3d.com/homebrew-hacking/13...-help-plz.html

I then upgraded to 3.03 OE and I got the japanese firmware version letters again? WTF!! I must be using japanese firmware!? some were!

So I redownloaded the 3.03 fw from PSPhacks and am rebuilding the dxar file. Then I will re-reflash to 3.03 again! More later!

I love recovery mode!!

<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Still getting the Japanese firmware version numbers with 3.03 OE. I was not having this issue early on Friday when I first upgraded to 3.03.

Also I am getting an internal error on my networking. I think something is hosed up major. I am tired and going to sleep. So I will not do anything more until I get feedback on what to try next to clean this up.

It sounds to me like you have a corrupted FLASH1 drive.

I have a cure all fix for this. It is harsh though.

1. Get psp filer. Move it to game (or game150) and run it.

2. Press select for the help screen: If everything is in Japanese, please press O to turn it into English. Press Square to save this, then X to exit.

3. Press "Left D Pad + L + R" to enter hacker mode.

4. Press start until the upper left corner says "FLASH1:". It MUST say "FLASH1:".

5. Delete everything inside of flash1. When you exit, just put in new settings.

6. Upgrade to 3.03 OEA.

^_^ There you go!

This happens with some VSH plugins. Disable all extra PRX's and retry.

Networking as infrastructure play? You probably have CPU overclocked to 333 MHz in-game. Go to recovery and go to CPU speed and change it to default. Your internet should work fine after that.

This fixed the error. I was able to reconfigure my network. Now I am just getting an error about my access point not being available. At least I am moving forward. Good tips help a lot.

Might try the flash1 formatter program someday.

If I could just clean up the corrupt icon issue.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Oh I forgot to add I was already at 3.03 OE-B when I did the flash1 file erasing.

Deadlus and installotron working!!! YEA

You got corrupt icons? If you find out which programs are causing them, I'll send you the fixed EBOOTs.
