Hi,
I own have TA-082 (IC1003) with 2.71 FW Original and downgrade to 2.71 >>> 1.5 >>>> 3.02 OE-A >>>> 3.02 OE-B with Full Proof Method..

Means There will be 0% Chance for Bricking your PSP I have made Some read to Copy Folders.. And u just have do is Ctrl-A >>> Ctrl-C >>> Ctrl-V..

First Make sure u have TA-082 Motherboard

Just click on The Link so u may know that u have TA-082 (IC1003) MOBO

so let's begin to downgrade work..

i made 3 XXX.zip folders..

1. 2.71 to 1.5 Downgrade Process..
Make Sure to Format your Memory Stick.To format the MEM stick just start your PSP Go to System setting and Select Format Memory Stick.After That..

2. 1.5 to 3.02 OE-A Upgarde Process..
Simple Just Copy All file from my
Just Copy all files to your main PSP Memory stick.. and U Done..

3. 3.02 OE-A To 3.02 OE-B
Just copy folder to Game150 and u Done

1.after file copied To MEM Stik just disconnect the PSP from ur computer
2.Make sure no UMD in Drive and turn ur psp off
3.Re on ur your PSP
4.Go to Photo >>> HEN-D >>> Just Open the HEN-D Folder and u see Blue screen and then green..If olnly blue occurs it's ok..

5.To make sure HEN-D is loaded go to SYSTEM information..And u should see 2.71 HEN-D..If u See this u are going rite...

6.Go to GAME >>>> MEMORY STICK >>>> and Open idstroage (It Convert ur PSP From TA-082 To Normal PSP )

7.Go same go to Game >>>> Memory Stick >>> Open Update X.YZ (Press X To Open)

8.After Process Complet you see Multi Language Text Simply Press O To Recover your settings.

9.Now Enter Date Time As You wish..

10.Now Go to System Information See 1.5..

11.Now It's Upon to that u want to go on 3.02 OE-A So Carry on Steps..

12.Now go to Game >>> MEM Stick >>> and Open 3.02 Update

13.After all thigs done congrates now u are on 3.02 OE-A

14.Now Restart ur PSP while holding R Button To goin Recover Menu

15.Select 1.5 Kernal and u done..Now u should see GAME150 Folder in MEMory stick
16.Simple Copy 3.02 OE-B to Game150 Folder and Update .. it take's 10.Sec

17.Now you have lot of hard word and u are now having 3.02 OE-B with (TA-082 Motherboard)

I have downgrade More than 27 PSP With MOBO of TA-082 having friwmware 2.71 and none them are Bricked there is only a of Bricking is Human Error for Ex (Remove Battery n MEMory stick or Switch OFf ) That's it..Wat i have send i Full Proof Method....

there is also computer error, which is where scandisk comes in, plus possible glitches in the firmware as it is sony released

I Arleady tell u that There is no problem in This Process what i have made it's Full Proff Method..Only and only Human Error can stop this Downgrade Process...All u have to do Guyz Just follow Instructions..Thats it.

There is a very small chance of bricking, no matter whether we use your method or not. And in your walkthrough, you give directions on how to update to 3.02 OE - why not 3.03 OE? It's better in just about every way.

Thankx For ur advice DUDE...Ur rite that i shoud give upgrader to 3.03 OE-X...Cause i am currently working to make Ready to Copy PAST one Packeag Upgrade..with VIDEO..i will Send the Post with in next 2 Hours..Thanx Take Care...

I follow your guide and easily downgrade my PSP to 1.5 but Please help that should i Upgrade to 3.02 OE-A or 3.03..

OR CAN YOU PLZZ TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE Between 3.02 OE-A/B and 3.03 OE-X please help me i really thank full to you...

with 3.03 OE B you can play ripped psx games and its better in pretty much every way just like dorkdork said.

Basically, 3.02 OE is a custom OS (or, as most people say, firmware) for the PSP, which has two versions - A and B. 3.03 OE is like 3.02 OE, but with more features, and is also split into A and B. When Guru refers to 3.03 OE-X, he means either of the versions.
