I read on the noobz downgrader that "Warning: After downgrading from 3.03 to 1.5, there are some remnants of 3.03 left in flash. If you later try to re-upgrade to 3.03 and repeat the downgrade, things will break. At some later point, we will work on a cleaner that will remove these extra files. Until then, enjoy! (Don't worry, upgrading to 3.03 OE firmwares still works fine)." Is there a way to make a clean flash install of 1.50? I did this on my 2.60 downgrade by downgrading to 1.00 then using my Coded Arms UMD to do an official update to 1.50. Will this work also?
Thanks.

Do not assume that because you upgrade/downgrade everything will be cleared, that's not the case. The remnants can't be removed by simply clearing Flash0 or Flash1. It can't be cleared until we work out the API's.
I've said this many-a-times. |
