3.10 OE-A bricks when you exit Devhook. Not all games function properly with the built-in no-UMD loader (Pilot Acedamy, etc.), so that really annoyed me. I dont really like 3.10 OE-A. Just my 2 cents.

Can OE-C do everything that 1.50 can now? Because if so, I think we have a new golden firmware.

Sorry if this is a little off topic

I personally cant find anything in 1.5 that you cant do in 3.03OE-C. In some ways its even better. You can run ISO's right from the XMB without having to use DevHook, all the homebrew I had in 1.5 works fine and you get the added security of the Recovery menu, the PSX games work fine (even compressed) and you get the added bonus of the Browser, RSS feeds, Flash Player, WMA Playback etc etc.

I would not bother going to 3.10OE-A just yet as there have been a few reports of bricks etc so I would stay with 3.03 for the time being.

yea, 3.03 oe-c is the best, you also get to have custom topmenu rco's, which dont work in 3.10.

btw, y would u need devhook in 3.10 oe?

I think we have a winner then. 3.03 OE-C for new golden firmware.

in 3.10oe-a there was a bug that causes certain games to crash (mainly metal slug 6(anthology)) recently i found NFS:C had problems with 3.10OE-A but i think it has been soughted in the 3.10OE-A' .
And the No-UMD loader became less compatable with 3.02oe+ firmwares anyway just use a umd, when 3.10 games come out you'll have to update anyway and 3.10 allows pal games to work without pal->ntsc convertion first.
this is the reason i have a 2.71SE-C and a 3.10OE-A' best of both worlds

3.03OE-C is the best firmware. I doubt that there will be many big firmware releases in the next couple of months, so you may as well use 3.030OE-C. Obviously, it's better than 1.5 because you don't have to enter DH etc., although I always get quite a few crashes on 3.030oe-c.

The custom XMB is the main reason I
went back to good ole' 3.03 OE-C. To scoder, I use Devhook on Pilot Academy, that game will not work right without it. Try loading it from the game menu, you'll see. 3.10 OE-B might be better though.
