system settings are version 2.71. the number in my UMD slot is ic1003
=X ive checked google and people say i wont be able to use DA's firmware , i hope this isnt true =/ i have no money for games |

This means that you have to go through one extra step before you downgrade (and then re-upgrade to 3.xx OE). You have to change your keys to make your psp think it's one of the older motherboards. You only have to do this once, and then just pretend you have an older style motherboard from then on (i.e., you are missing the ic1003 by the UMD slot). How to downgrade a 2.71 TA-82 to 1.50.
(Pay attention to step 6!)
From firmware 1.50, just upgrade to the cutsom firmware normally. Welcome to the world of homebrew! Oh, and just as for a future note, ISO's are not alowed to be discused on these forms. I noticed you said you don't have any money. Seriously, you really should buy your games.

Points: 36.50 Donate | | | Make sure you hold down the right shoulder button and then switch on your PSP (still holding down the right shoulder button). You should now be able to go into the Recovery Menu where you can recover your bricked PSP.
Do a search in the forums for how to use the recovery menu, there are loads of help posts about it.

Points: 21.55 Donate | | | did you just downgrade to 1.50 or did you update to 3.xxOE-x, cos the hardest part is the TA-08x downgrading as long as you downgrade to 1.50 ok the custom firmware is alot less likely to brick (did you check the md5 and did you make you own or download a full installer?)
