Daedalus Compatibility List

Welcome to the Unofficial Daedalus Compatibility List! Please add any games you test in a new post at the bottom, with the FPS count and where that FPS comes, any glitches, and where the game crashes (if any).

Please use the latest version of Daedalus available. The latest version is - Daedalus R10

I'll start off with the two games I've tested.
  • Legend of Zelda, The - Ocarina of Time
    • Opening Movie - 14 fps
    • Save select, etc - 59 fps
    • Link's bedroom - 20fps, but massive GFX glitching
    • Second movie - 8 fps
    • Deku Tree speech, etc - 15-18fps, but slight text glitching
    • Navi's flight - 4-14 fps
    • Link's bedroom again - 20fps, more massive GFX glitching, text glitching (Hen Hyrule's destiny really depend on such a lazy boy? )
    • Outside - 7-10fps, no glitching!
  • Super Mario 64
    • SM64 Logo - 2-30fps (Starts at 2, rockets up to 30 after about a second.)
    • Mario head - 8-13fps
    • Save selector - 30fps
    • Peach's letter - 24-29fps
    • Lakitu's castle flight - 25-30fps (Starts off fast, slows down slightly)
    • Outside the castle - 22-30fps (Speeds of 25fps and over only achieved on castle bridge)
    • Inside castle - 21-29fps
    • Room with painting - 30fps
    • Level 1 - Bob-omb battlefield - 14-23fps (20fps and over only while talking to Bob-Ombs)

Please add your own in this format -
HTML Code:
[list][*]Game Name[list][*]Place - xxfps (Any notes)[*]Place - xxfps (Any notes)[*]Place - xxfps (Any notes)[/list][/list]
This would show up as -
  • Game Name
    • Place - xxfps (Any notes)
    • Place - xxfps (Any notes)
    • Place - xxfps (Any notes)

Finally, dq9 pointed out that this doesn't say how to get it to show the FPS. Here's how -
  1. Start Daedalus.
  2. Choose your ROM with X.
  3. Set the options on this screen.
  4. Press either R or L twice.
  5. Enable 'Show FPS' on this screen.
  6. Make sure these other options are the same as below -
    • Viewport size - Fullscreen
    • Limit framerate - Yes
    • Frameskip - Disabled
    • Audio - Disabled
    • Adjust freqency - Disabled
    • Stick deadzone - 23/100
    • Software clipping - Enabled
  7. Press R or L twice again.
  8. Press Start. The game may take a while to load.

Nice job starting this thread.

Let me just make a point Goldeneye 007 doesn't start and Super Smash Brothers stops after the loading screens.

OK, thanks guys! I'll add a few more, as I have plenty of time now.

(I'm sorry, I should have said how to get the FPS. I'll edit my post.)
