Ok, I have a PSP1003 and its been updated to v3.30 as of yesterday. I wanted to be able to play Final Fantasy 7 on PSP and was wondering how I would be able to do this. I know that there is no downgrader for v3.30 at the moment but was wondering if I downloaded 3.30OE when it was ready from Dark_Alex would that overwrite the official stuff. Also, as it stands, is there ANYTHING i can download to my PSP (Games/Software/Apps etc) with the official v3.30 or does everything require you to have homemade software
Please help as Im new to this. Thanks  |

Points: 330.31 Donate | | | Unfortunately, the only way to get onto an OE firmware is to downgrade to 1.50, as the updater itself is a homebrew app, and no homebrew works on 3.30. As for FF7, I'm guessing you mean ripping it from a disc and playing it on your PSP. Again, this cannot be done, thanks to the limitations of normal firmwares.
And for the last things... What sort do you mean? If you mean homebrew, then unfortunately it cannot be done on 3.30 at the moment. 3.30 requires you to only use $ony-made apps and games, but music, photos and videos can be your own. |

Basically I have to wait for a v3.30 downgrader and downgrade to 1.50 and then reupgrade to 3.30OE or whatever is available. I dont think there's a v3.30 downgrader, which means I shouldnt have updated yesterday
In the meantime ill try and get some official demos from the Sony website I guess
