Crash team racing game save ??

With the game crashing when starting the auto save screen would it be possilbe to bypass this by having an already saved game on the memory stick?? - everygame asks you about the autosave the first time but after that it will automatically select the save, so I was wondering if this would work for crash team??
Sorry if this has already been tried or is a stupid idea but im still pretty new to it all. Also could someone upload a save file of the american version of this game so I can try it -ive looked everywhere. Thanks

when you say bypass, you mean like for code execution on to play without a gamesave?

What I mean is, it seems that the game freezes at the point where it asks whether or not you want to use the autosave feature, now if a save game is present it wont do this check as the profile is already created so I was wondering if this would work?
As for code preventing the check I have no idea how to code that sorry im a total noob just thought the save game trick might work.

i dont think you can do anything if its on the umd. maybe its just an error with your ms or something. but its not anything we can work off of.

No as in the iso off you memory card, it loads then stops (not freezes as you can still press home and return to the main menu) at the point where it would normally say that the autoload feature is available. I found a save game now so il let you know how it goes.

I am using 1.5!! with the standard loaders, but it stops when it reaches the "checking memory card" point and I thought by placing a save game on the memory stick may cause the game to bypass the "autosave" mode but it didn't work doh :S back to the drawing board
