Hey Guys,

I need some help, just recently bought a psp version 3.03, i was followed all instructions, and i still can get it to downgrade

first off, I do have the right version of gta lcs
second i downloaded the down grader and copied the save game files from the downgrade to the save game files of the psp folder, same with the game files from downgrade to game folder in the psp folder. The hen folder i extracted to both psp folder, that didnt work so i tried pretty much every other folder.

I got the 1.5 update and renamed it update.pbp and put it in the psp/game/update folder

I run gta lcs and it goes through the whole begining, and when its loading the game it just goes to the main psp screen with all the option, no light blue screen, not really a restart since it never really shuts off. I go to system info and its not running HEN... what to do Any ideas? is there something else that needs to be on there that most experiences already know and is not in the tutorial?

I have this same problem. It doesn't say HEN is running and when loading LCS it just normally loads, no black/blue action.

I think it's a problem with how my files are arranged. I put them in the root, not the MS_ROOT folder. Just the plain F:/ drive. The memory stick. There is no MS_ROOT folder of their own... for the downgrader files... or any folder at all, just a jumble of files I took from a .rar of the Downgrader 3.03.

Do I need HEN 3.03 as well as the Downgrader 3.03? Are they the same thing? I'm new to this sort of thing, but I seem to be doing okay. I just need to downgrade badly.

i dont thin kyoure meant to rename the actual 1.5 update

im pretty sure you just place the 1.5 update in the update folder and also make sure the update folder is in uppercase

all the video guides, says that we shouldnt update the eboot.pbp, and therefore i had to change the 1.5 update to update.pbp all inc caps. it still doesnt explain why it doesnt run hen. where am i suppose to extract the hen folder.

The copy of GTA: LCS has to have the 2.00 update on it, not the 2.60 or it won't work.

how can i tell which one it is i have the NON greatest hit version
can someone tell me which files goes in each folder

Well, look at its option in the PSP's menu. The update icon under Game will have the text 'PSP(tm) Update ver' then a number. If the number is 2.00, then there's another problem that we have to figure out. If it's 2.60, however, then you'll need to find a copy of GTA: LCS with the 2.00 update on the disk.

but if my psp is already a 3.03 it wont ask me to upgrade

The 3.03 downgrader only works through the one with the 2.00 update. Does yours have the 2.00 update on it or the 2.60 update?

i dont know how to tell, i have the brown one with the gun on it, the one that is NOT the greatest hits one
