| | | | Upgrading from 2.5 Jap to 2.6 US
Can this be done? I see a guy on Ebay says that he has white PSP's that are 2.6 US firmware and that the region code is us 1 and not 2. The only reason i am asking is becasue i have a 2.5 jap PSP and since I cannot downgrade it quess I will upgrade if I can change to region 1 UMD.
If this has been answered sorry.

Points: 17.44 Donate | | | well i think you can because when update 2.0 came out people updated from the japan version so they changed 1.5,1.51,1.52us versions to 2.0 but japan version, so i think you could do the same with a japan version to a us version. |

Points: 17.44 Donate | | | i dont think so, because the mph downgrader worked for 2.0 us psp but not for japan psp's, but now there is a downgrader for the japan psp's, i forgot what it was called but it was in the front page of this page. i also remember reading it was dangerous to use it cuz it was a beta dunno..not sure |
