I have a version 1.50 PSP at the mo, downgraded it this evening from 2.71 and its working fine

I have seen that playstation 1 game can be played on it, how do i do this?

So guide me from version 1.50 to being able to play them please...

I replied to your PM, I included instructions on upgrading to 3.40 OE-A. To play PSX games they have to be converted into EBOOTs using PopStation, or one of the many easy-to-use variants (I recommend AutoPopStation4 by theaceoffire). They can also be compressed by doing that, which brings down the filesize substantially.
