| | | | problems w/ OE firmware.... well so I took the plunge and decided to use the Lumines workaround to downgrade my PSP (a ta-082 btw). everything worked fine, and I ended up with a perfect 1.5 fw psp. so then I tried installing the 3.40 OE firmware, followed all instructions carefully. the process seemed fine but when I reset and powered back on like prompted, I get a blue screen that says in many languages that settings are corrupt. then it semi-bricks. did I miss anything and what's the problem? |

well i've recovered and reinstalled twice, to the same result. I then tried installing the 3.30 OE firmware but to the same effect. |

This will be patched soon. For now I would try 3.03 OE-C. You will have full XMB customization along with full homebrew. Keep checking in and we will post when the patch for TA-082 PSP's comes out. |

| | | | ok, that might be it. I'll try that later tonight.
i read that bit when downloading the downgrade, but I assumed that it meant I could not update past the 3.30 official firmware, not the OE firmware, thats why. thanks |

You just use the Keycleaner app and you can go past *3.30*, not *3.10.* And he can use any OE he wants, since OE is really 1.50. |

And here's KeyCleaner. Be sure to check the description and the readme. | |
