So apparently my PSP didn't know that I knew what I was doing. It just sat there for 20 mins and then said battery must be charged to 75%. I know that my battery is in the 90's. I was using the generic downgrader from theaceoffire's tut.

im a lil late but imma tell you how to fix a brick for next time

1. download the 3.40oe-a stuff, 150.pbp and 340.pbp.

2. put the .pbp's in the oeupdmaker folder

3. transfer the oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% folders to your PSP\GAME and rename them RECOVERY and RECOVERY%.

4. choose run program at PSP\Game\RECOVERY

5. while your psp is doing its stuff, go to your computer and rename the 340flasher and 340flasher% folders RECOVERY and RECOVERY%.

6.When psp stops making the DATA.DXAR, transfer the RECOVERY folders (used to be 340flasher) to PSP\GAME. Whenaasked to overwrite say yes please.

7. Plug your psp into charger and choose the run prog at PSP\GAME\~~~.PBP

8. Brick yourpsp and go back to 1.

Well you posted just in time, but I guess my PSP isn't at 75%. So I will keep you guys posted. Sorry that I forgot how to unbrick. It just doesn't happen to often and I'm out of practice.

Yeah I unbricked. Now I am having trouble converting my topmenu_plugin for 3.40 OE-A. But it's no biggie I guess. If anyone wants to help, that would be fine.

Downloadthis.
Then put your topmenu in the '303_to_340 folder'.
Run the 'US upgarde.bat.'
